Kisozi, Uganda – President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Uganda, H.E. Mehmet Fatih Ak, at his Kisozi Farm in Gomba District, where they held discussions on strengthening the longstanding partnership between Uganda and Türkiye.
The meeting focused on issues of mutual interest aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation for the shared prosperity of the two nations. The leaders exchanged views on opportunities to further enhance collaboration across key sectors, reflecting the growing strategic relationship between Uganda and Türkiye.
President Museveni reaffirmed Uganda’s commitment to fostering stronger ties with Türkiye, emphasizing the value of sustained diplomatic engagement, economic cooperation, and mutually beneficial partnerships that contribute to the development and well-being of both countries.
The engagement forms part of Uganda’s continued efforts to strengthen its international partnerships and advance a foreign policy anchored in constructive dialogue, trade, investment, and regional and global cooperation.
