Kampala, Uganda – Hon. Gen. Odongo Jeje Abubakhar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received H.E. Park Sung-soo, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Uganda during a farewell call at the Ministry Headquarters. During the meeting, Hon. Gen. Odongo commended Amb. Park for his distinguished service and valuable contribution to strengthening relations between Uganda and the Republic of Korea throughout his diplomatic tour of duty. He highlighted the notable progress achieved in trade, investment, and rural development, which have further enhanced cooperation between the two countries. The discussions also underscored the enduring friendship and shared commitment of Uganda and the Republic of Korea to deepen collaboration across a wide range of sectors for mutual benefit.

Hon.Gen. Odongo expressed the Government of Uganda’s appreciation for Ambassador Park’s dedication and wished him continued success in his future endeavours as he concludes his assignment in Uganda. The farewell meeting reflected the strong and growing partnership between Uganda and the Republic of Korea, built on mutual respect, cooperation, and shared development goals.
