Kampala, Uganda – On 3 February 2026, the Inspector General of Police, Abas Byakagaba, hosted H.E. Ahmed Bin Muhammad Alzuwaidi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Uganda, alongside Rashid Yahya Ssemuddu, the Ugandan Ambassador to Sudan and Morocco at Police Headquarters in Naguru. The IGP conveyed appreciation to the Qatar government for establishing its diplomatic mission in Kampala, noting it as a milestone in bilateral relations. He underscored the enduring partnership between Uganda and Qatar, and reaffirmed the Uganda Police Force’s commitment to strengthening institutional cooperation and professional exchange with its Qatari counterparts.
