Entebbe, Uganda – President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni recently hosted Mozambique’s President H.E. Daniel Francisco Chapo at State House Entebbe for bilateral talks focused on regional security, cooperation, and the longstanding historical relationship between the two countries. The discussions reflected on the shared liberation history between Uganda and Mozambique, particularly Mozambique’s support during Uganda’s liberation struggle in the 1970s.
President Museveni also emphasised the importance of continued African solidarity, regional cooperation, and strategic partnerships in addressing common challenges across the continent. President Chapo, on his first official visit to Uganda, thanked Uganda for the warm hospitality and praised the country’s welcoming atmosphere during his engagements.
